Two Ways to Finish Your Jacket
- Button version: A beautifully finished, fully lined jacket with three classic front buttons.
- Reversible version: Use double-cap or reversible snaps so the jacket can genuinely be worn with either side facing out.
The patchwork design is completely optional. Make one pieced layer and one solid layer, use two coordinating solid fabrics, combine prints, or keep the entire jacket simple and classic.

Fabric Ideas
For the solid-fabric layer, choose a light- to medium-weight woven fabric with enough structure to hold the jacket’s shape, such as linen or linen blends, cotton, lightweight corduroy, lightweight denim, soft velvet, or velveteen.
For an optional patchwork layer, lightweight cotton fabrics work especially well. It is a lovely way to combine coordinating prints, treasured fabric pieces, or favorite colours—but patchwork is not required.

Fabric requirements vary depending on the selected size, fabric width, and whether you choose a solid or patchwork version. Please refer to the information included with the pattern before purchasing fabric.
Printing
Print the pattern pieces at 100% or Actual Size. The smallest size requires approximately 6 printed pattern pages and the largest approximately 8 pages. The tutorial is designed to be viewed digitally, so there is no need to print the full instruction booklet.
