Finished Size
Approximately 12″ × 14″ × 8″ / 30 × 35 × 20 cm.
The finished shape may vary slightly with fabric choice and stuffing. Stretch fabrics create a softer, rounder hen; stable woven fabrics give a little more structure.
Skill Level
Beginner-friendly. The construction is simple and carefully explained, with no exposed raw edges and a neat, professional finish.
Recommended Fabrics
Cotton, linen, sherpa, wool felt, burlap, corduroy, or velvet all work beautifully. Fabrics with some body are easiest to sew. For lightweight fabrics, add fusible interfacing. For corduroy or velvet, remember to consider the direction of the nap when cutting.

- Polyester fiberfill: approximately 15 oz / 450 g
- Safety eyes: one pair, 3/8″ / 1 cm diameter

Print at 100% / Actual Size. Do not choose “Fit to Page” or resize. The same pattern file prints correctly on A4 or US Letter paper—no separate paper-format files are needed.
