Tools and Equipment needed:
•Sewing machine with straight and zigzag stitches
•Ruler
•Tape measure
•Scissors
•Pins
Supplies you will need to provide:
*You can use any fabric, but preferably use a fabric that is not too thin, and has some body (stiffness), if you want to use a fabric that doesn’t have enough body, you can use heat-seal interfacing, especially in stretchy fabrics, to keep the shape better, otherwise the toys will tend to round itself
I used Cotton 100%, linen and cotton canvas are also a good choise
*For the crab: 20” x 34” (50 x 86 cm) for the body
6” x 10” (15 x 25 cm) for the belly and eyes
*For the starfish: 12” x 25” (30 x 54 cm)
* Adhesive lining: 20” x 55” (50 x 140 cm)
* One pair of 12 mm (1/2″) diameter safety eyes
*Doll stuffing (fiber fill) aprox 15 OZ (500 grs)
