Measure around the fullest part of the head, just above the eyebrows and ears. Ages are approximate; if the measurement falls between sizes, choose the larger size for a more comfortable fit.
Fabric Suggestions
Use lightweight woven fabric for the lining. Fusible interfacing is recommended for the outer fabric to give the crown and brim a neat, lasting shape.
Skill Level
Beginner-friendly. The tutorial guides you through cutting, interfacing, sewing the crown and brim, adding the lining, topstitching, and finishing the opening by hand.
Printing
- Open the files in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Print at 100% or Actual Size.
- Do not select “Fit to Page” or scaling.
- Measure the test square before printing the remaining pages.
- Print only the file for the size you need.
